It’s cool that Sean Lennon got REALLY into Elliott Smith, but I can’t help but think that this song would be better if it was John Lennon and Elliott Smith doing some sort of alt-universe collaboration. If Lennon were alive today, who would he have made an album with? I’m thinking Elliott Smith, Albert Hammond, Jr., and maybe someone kind of out there like Kaki King or The Books.
